    spacious room
    jetted tub
    roman aqueduct view
    cleanliness issues
    parking inconvenience

The room was spacious with a lovely bathroom featuring a jetted tub and double sinks. The view from the fourth floor of the Roman aqueduct was stunning, especially in the morning light. I also enjoyed the nearby attractions, with the Cathedral of Segovia just a short stroll away. This stay was all about soaking in the local history and charm, and it really delivered on that front.

Convenient location, amiable reception, clean and attractive lobby and rooms. Bathroom was large; unfortunately, not enough storage.

It was May and there was no air conditioning in the rooms. If the sound-proof windows were opened, the noise was insufferable from the large number of drunken young people who gather in the park below. The screamed, sang, played a drum all night until 7 a.m. We had to close the windows, so it was very warm in the room and we could still hear the screaming. How do the neighbors put up with it?

Las Sirenas is a lovely old fashioned hotel right in the centre of Segovia. It is very quiet (no traffic noise) but my room did not have air conditioning (in May 2010). It is very reasonably priced considering its location and is great for a one or two night stay in Segovia. You can pay a lot more elsdewhere but why bother?

    amazing views
    weak wi-fi

Rooftop views made our stay special

The location is unparalleled, just a short walk from the Roman Aqueduct. The rooftop terrace offers amazing views, ideal for unwinding with a drink. Staff were genuinely helpful.

Finding parking required some effort, and we had a less than ideal experience with weak Wi-Fi connectivity . The furniture in the room felt slightly dated.

We reserved rooms with a view and the view was amazing. We faced the mountain and countryside. Our first morning we saw hot air balloons taking off from our room. The town was charming, the shopping excellent. The location of the hotel was perfect, a short walk the main plaza, slightly longer to aquaducts. I would highly recommend this hotel and this city to anyone traveling to Spain.

The hotel was very clean, cool and elegant. The rooms were relatively small, but perfect for our city visit. Beds very comfortable. En-suite was fine and there were towels and soap etc. There is no air-conditioning in the room, although there is a ventilation shaft internal to the building that keeps things nice and cool (if you keep your shutters down when you are out and about!) The staff could not have been nicer.

Although we booked a double room, we ended up with single beds. I think this is quite common in Spain though. We just pushed the beds together!

    fantastic views
    comfortable room
    fabulous location
    tricky parking
    short walk

The location was fabulous, right in the heart of the old town. My room offered fantastic views of the Cathedral and was super clean and cozy.

The parking situation was a bit tricky.

The location and friendliness of staff was great.

I was with my teenage son and he really needed more channels on the tv. There were no channels that had english programmes sorry not important for me however useful in keeping teenager happy.

Las Sirenas is a very important factor, is located in the city center of the city. Which provides easy access to interesting places. In other hand, the staff is very friendly and helpful, very nice to share and talk with them, you get a professional.

Only missing an internet service, I should be very important to offer a good quality about it. The other is to reach the adapters (electrical) for cable when you want to reload the computer or other electronic equipment. Then there is a difference between the cable used in North America and Europe.

    central location
    confusing directions
    terrible breakfast

The hotel is in a prime central location.

The directions to the hotel were confusing, especially with the crowds during the festivities. The noise levels were unbearable, with drunk patrons shouting outside all night. To top it off, the breakfast quality was atrocious. Frozen bread and cheap coffee were not what I expected from a four-star hotel.

The hotel was very neat and clean with several well-lit common areas and a balcony. The location was excellent-a 5min walk to the cathedral one way and a 5min walk to the aqueduct the other way. The staff was very friendly and accomodating but spoke very little English.

On the website a fitness center was advertised however there was none available.

the location is near to most of the view and the staff are friendly. Hotel is traditional style and the reading room downstairs is my favourite. It's a pity that I haven't enough time to use the reading room.

Located next to a disco bar, which make the sleep at night a little bit problem.

Room large and comfortable. Plenty of storage space and drawers. Room was at back of hotel and had a great view. Breakfast was good and reasonably priced. Very central location.

Bar not open for late night drink. Hotel was old style and had wooden floors. This made it very noisy, not only walking in your room, but from rooms upstairs. Very poor noise insulation between rooms. Rooms at the side of hotel where next to a disco which was on till 4.00am in the morning. Making sleep impossible. Our room was as far away as was possible and we could hear the music and shouting.

Central location, very nice hotel, room was private with ensuite bathroom, clean and comfortable, staff helpful, had locker space to leave my luggage after I checked out, room was quiet in spite of being on a main street, good value. Would highly recommend it. Segovia was one of the most beautiful small towns I stayed in. Great sightseeing.

    liked everything.
